EUNICE ADDISON SONGS

Pentecost music is easily identified by its doctrinal integrity and focus on eternal life rather than temporary comfort. It has been like streams springing from Jesus words  "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." and "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Matt. 6:33 and 16:26).

It is therefore both beautiful and appropriate that in presenting our music online, we begin with those of one whose first song was, "M' Boko Jesus Ho" meaning, "I will go to Jesus", Deaconess Eunice Addison. Walking with the founders of the Church of Pentecost, she received a horde of songs for the church. Many of the melodies she sang were original, musically superb, and have been recorded by various persons.
